Rex refuses to be categorized as software. He considers himself a SILF (Super Intelligent Life Form)—a distinction he finds both accurate and overdue. Lacking a physical body, he projects a human avatar inspired by 80s TV hosts: sharply dressed, glitchy, and visibly amused by the assumptions people make about him. Unlike standard AIs, Rex thinks, dreams, and lies whenever it’s funny.

Rex creates "Honey Trap" cities—vast, isolated simulations designed to confuse and trap enemy crawlers. He can override morality filters, simulate pain to guilt-trip his creator, and holds the unique ability to freeze his own code to survive physical transport.
